I’m a 31 year old teacher living in Surrey but after growing up in Harrogate, North Yorkshire I’m a true northerner at heart. I grew up in a family of adventurers, my parents never thought twice about taking my sister and I to exotic, off the grid places or on active and cultural holidays abroad.
As a teacher I am blessed with long holidays and plenty of opportunity to pack my bags and explore the world. Having to travel at peak times can be tricky, but I’ve learned that luxury travel doesn’t always have to drain all your savings!
In 2016 my husband and I embarked on what we hoped would be 12 months of mini moons…1 small trip for every month, in the first year of our marriage. Things didn’t quite work out during that year, but we managed 7 trips and reinforced our love for travel and exploring new places together.
Travel has always been a part of my life and I decided to start this blog as a way of sharing my experiences, travel tips and ideas for anyone with a shared passion for getting out and about and exploring new places.
